Defense Contracting Event Focuses on DOD Cloud Security

(MCLEAN, VA., May 10, 2017) — Washington Technology, in partnership with Microsoft, announces a defense contracting event focused on securing the DOD Cloud environment, "Delivering on the Demands of Secure Cloud for DOD."  The event will take place May 12 at the Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner in McLean, VA.

Defense organizations are looking for business partners that can execute on cloud security—not just on controls specified by the DFARS, but also on the requirements spelled out by the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), the FedRAMP High baseline, and Department of Defense (DOD) Impact Level 4 and Impact Level 5." This event, produced by Washington Technology and Microsoft, will bring together defense contractors, systems integrators and members of the Defense Industrial Base to learn about technologies and strategies that can deliver secure commercial cloud solutions.  Speakers include senior-level defense, federal government and industry experts.
